Bursaries

A small number of bursaries are available each year for Music Society members.

To apply, you need to email our treasurer James Harper for an application form jah511@york.ac.uk. Applications can be made at any time of year.

There are two different types of bursary.

Instrumental/voice lessons.

For final year music students to help towards costs of Solo Project costs.

Applications will then be presented to the committee and each case is discussed individually and a joint decision is made as to how much money each application should receive. Please note that every case is unique, and each one is considered on an individual basis.

You must be a member of the music society to apply for a bursary.
